1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the BeeWritten website, user dashboard, payment and subscription flows, customer support communications, contact forms, and related product features.
It covers information collected directly from you, information generated through your use of the service, and information obtained through service providers that help us operate BeeWritten.
This policy does not apply to third-party sites, social media platforms, payment pages, or software platforms that may be linked to or integrated with BeeWritten. Those third parties have their own privacy practices and policies.
2. Who We Are
BeeWritten is an online platform that helps users create, schedule, and publish AI-generated social media content across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Users can connect their social media accounts, generate written and visual content using AI, manage posting schedules, and track campaign performance from a single dashboard.
The service is operated under the BeeWritten brand by Ajinkya Meshram. Where local law uses terms such as "data controller," "business," or "operator," BeeWritten acts in that role for personal information described in this policy, unless we are processing information strictly on behalf of a business customer under separate terms.
3. Categories of Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with BeeWritten, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account and profile information, such as your name, email address, password or authentication credentials, company or business name, and similar account identifiers.
- Billing and transaction information, such as subscription plan, billing address, country, invoice history, subscription status, payment timestamps, refund or dispute data, and limited payment details made available to us by our payment processor. Full card numbers are processed by the payment processor and are not stored by BeeWritten.
- Connected social media account information, such as access tokens, page identifiers, account names, and permissions granted when you connect an Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok account to BeeWritten for publishing purposes.
- Content and campaign information, such as brand identity details, product descriptions, AI-generated captions, images, scheduled posts, publishing history, and campaign configurations that you create, save, or manage through the service.
- Usage and technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings, referring pages, click activity, feature interactions, pages viewed, timestamps, error logs, and similar diagnostic or security information.
- Communications and inquiry information, such as the content of emails, support requests, form submissions, feedback, feature requests, bug reports, and other messages you send to us.
- Marketing and preference information, such as whether you signed up for updates, opened an email, clicked a campaign link, or otherwise engaged with a promotional communication.
4. Information We Obtain Automatically
When you visit the BeeWritten website or use the dashboard, certain information may be collected automatically through server logs, analytics tools, cookies, or similar technologies. This helps us operate the service, understand feature usage, troubleshoot technical issues, secure accounts, investigate abuse, and improve reliability.
Automatically collected information may include cookie identifiers, session information, browser characteristics, IP address, device identifiers, page views, route transitions, crash data, fraud signals, and similar operational telemetry.
5. Information We Receive from Third Parties
We may receive information from third parties that support the operation of BeeWritten, including payment processors, analytics providers, email providers, customer support systems, social media platforms, and other infrastructure vendors.
For example, our payment processor may provide us with billing status, subscription details, limited payment metadata, invoice status, charge failure notices, or dispute-related information. Social media platforms may provide us with account identifiers and permissions data when you choose to connect your accounts.
6. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information for the following business and operational purposes:
- To create and manage your account.
- To provide, maintain, and deliver the BeeWritten service, including AI content generation, campaign management, and social media publishing.
- To authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
- To process subscriptions, invoices, payments, renewals, and plan changes.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, suspicious activity, chargebacks, and payment disputes.
- To provide customer support, respond to inquiries, and resolve service issues.
- To analyze performance, diagnose bugs, and improve reliability, usability, and feature quality.
- To send transactional communications, such as receipts, account notices, product updates, security alerts, and support messages.
- To send marketing or promotional emails where permitted by law; you can opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time.
- To enforce our terms, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations.
7. What We Do Not Use Your Data For
BeeWritten does not use the content, brand details, or account information you submit through the service to train public, shared, or generalized artificial intelligence models for third-party use.
We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not disclose personal information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
8. Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing, we may rely on one or more of the following legal bases depending on the context:
- Performance of a contract, such as when we need to provide the service you requested, maintain your account, process your subscription, or respond to product-related requests.
- Legitimate interests, such as securing the platform, preventing fraud, improving the product, understanding feature usage, maintaining records, and communicating with customers in a proportionate way.
- Consent, where required by law, such as for certain cookies, marketing messages, or other optional processing.
- Compliance with legal obligations, such as tax, accounting, consumer protection, law enforcement, or dispute-related obligations.
- Protection of rights, safety, and property, including investigation of misuse or legal claims.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
BeeWritten may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the website and dashboard, remember preferences, maintain sessions, measure usage, secure the service, and understand how users interact with the platform.
These technologies may include strictly necessary cookies required to enable account login or core service functionality, and analytics-related technologies used to measure product usage and site performance. BeeWritten does not currently use ad-targeting or retargeting cookies as a core part of the service.
Depending on your location, you may be presented with cookie choices or consent tools.
10. Analytics, Email, Payment, and Other Service Providers
BeeWritten works with third-party providers that help us operate the service. These may include:
- Payment providers such as Stripe for subscription and billing management.
- Infrastructure providers such as Google Firebase for authentication, database storage, and file hosting.
- AI and content generation providers such as OpenAI for text generation and fal.ai for image generation.
- Social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, through their respective APIs, when you connect your accounts for publishing.
- Analytics providers to help us understand feature usage and improve the platform.
- Email and support communication providers to handle transactional messages and customer support.
Some of these vendors may process personal information on our behalf and only under instructions reasonably necessary to deliver their services to us. A provider's role may change over time as BeeWritten evolves.
11. How We Share Information
We may share personal information in the following limited circumstances:
- With service providers and infrastructure vendors that help us operate BeeWritten.
- With payment processors and financial service providers involved in subscriptions, invoicing, disputes, or fraud screening.
- With social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) when you explicitly connect your accounts and request content to be published on your behalf.
- With professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, or insurers where necessary.
- When required by law, subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or similar legal process.
- When necessary to detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, security incidents, suspected unlawful conduct, or violations of our terms.
- In connection with a sale, transfer, financing, reorganization, merger, or other business transaction involving all or part of the BeeWritten service, subject to appropriate protections where required.
- With your direction or consent, including when you request integrations, exports, or support actions.
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising as part of the core BeeWritten service described at the time of this policy.
12. Connected Social Media Accounts
BeeWritten allows you to connect your social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for the purpose of scheduling and publishing content directly from the dashboard. When you connect an account, BeeWritten receives access tokens and related permissions granted through the platform's official authorization flow.
These tokens are used solely to perform publishing actions on your behalf as directed by you. BeeWritten does not use connected account access to read your personal messages, followers, or other profile data beyond what is strictly required to publish content and verify publishing status.
You may revoke BeeWritten's access to any connected social media account at any time, either from within the BeeWritten dashboard or directly through the platform's own account settings. Revoking access will prevent future publishing but will not automatically delete prior publishing history stored in BeeWritten.
13. International Data Transfers
BeeWritten serves users in multiple countries. As a result, personal information may be processed in jurisdictions other than the country where you are located, including countries where our vendors or infrastructure providers operate.
When applicable law requires safeguards for international data transfers, we will rely on measures that are recognized under the relevant law, such as contractual protections, adequacy-based mechanisms, or other lawful transfer tools.
14. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
In general, BeeWritten may retain account information for up to two (2) years after cancellation or non-renewal of a subscription in order to maintain account records, respond to support requests, investigate fraud or disputes, enforce terms, and comply with legal or accounting obligations.
Billing, payment, tax, and transaction records may be retained for longer periods where required by law, industry standards, tax rules, audit needs, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Generated content, campaign data, and publishing history may be retained for shorter or longer periods depending on the feature used, whether a dispute or support matter exists, and whether legal retention obligations apply.
Following account deletion or retention expiry, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely isolate information, except where continued storage is required for backups, fraud detection, dispute handling, security logging, or legal compliance.
15. Security Measures
BeeWritten uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These safeguards may include encrypted transmission, access controls, authentication measures, vendor security controls, limited administrative access, secure payment handling through specialized providers, and logging and monitoring practices.
No system is completely secure. Accordingly, while we take reasonable steps to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These rights may include the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of information in appropriate circumstances, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or request portability of information where applicable.
BeeWritten will review privacy requests in light of applicable law, the nature of the request, our role in the processing, and any legal or operational exceptions that apply. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
To exercise privacy rights or submit a privacy-related question, please contact support@beewritten.com.
17. California Privacy Notice (Where Applicable)
If you are a California resident and California privacy law applies to your interaction with BeeWritten, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know categories of personal information collected, the categories of sources, business purposes for collection, categories of recipients, and the right to request deletion or correction in certain circumstances.
BeeWritten does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as part of the core service described in this policy.
California residents may submit requests by emailing support@beewritten.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
18. EEA / UK Notice (Where Applicable)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your personal information has been processed unlawfully.
Where required, BeeWritten will honor rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent, subject to lawful exceptions.
19. Children's Privacy
BeeWritten is a business and productivity service and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the service.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to BeeWritten, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
20. Account Deletion and User-Controlled Actions
You may request deletion of your account by contacting our support team. You may also disconnect any linked social media accounts at any time from within the BeeWritten dashboard.
Deleting an account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of every associated record. Certain information may remain in backups, logs, billing systems, support archives, dispute records, or legal compliance files for a limited period.
21. Third-Party Integrations and Links
BeeWritten integrates with social media platforms to enable direct content publishing. When you connect your accounts and publish content, the platform's own privacy terms and security practices will govern how it handles that content once published.
Our website or dashboard may also contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.
22. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements, technology, or business practices.
When we make material changes, we may post the updated policy on the BeeWritten website, update the effective date, and take additional steps where required by law.
